Kangen water is an eco-friendly solution

to our plastic crisis

Bottled water is destroying our environment + eco systems all over the world !

The facts

*It requires over three litres of water to produce one liter of bottled water

*50 billion water bottles are consumed worldwide per year

*49% of bottled water is just purified tap water

*Water from home filtration systems cost less than 1 cent per gallon

*Bottled water can cost 1,000 times more than that…

The average person, now uses more than 35 gallons of bottled water per year.

That’s about 270 bottles per person.

Why we need to wake up

O I L

Every year, the equivalent of 17 million barrels of oil are used to produce plastic water and soda bttles in the U.S alone that’s not including transportation.

The small oil sources we do have are taken to be used on something that is only used once, then thrown away!!!

We then take oil from other countries, negatively affecting our political relationships and dangerously and expensivley drilling out pristine eco system.

R E C Y C L A B L E ?

The water industry misleadingly tells us that these bottles are recycable. But being recyclable is not the same as actually being recycled. Only 1/3 of plastic bottles are actually recycled, meaning that 2/3 end up in our landfills and environment.

Recycling is the last resort, not the solution.

is the very thing that keeps us alive, the very thing that supports all life on earth and is the most vital element to our bodies after air. And yet, it’s destroying us because of how we choose to conviently contain it, store it and sell it.

One million plastic water bottes are made every minute. By the time you’ve read this and looked at the photos, another million plastic water bottles will be made and they will stay on our earth for 450 years!

Especially not for millions of animals killed each year due to the plastic they consume in the ocean. I’m sure we’ve all heard the statistics by now, that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.

Due to hars chemicals and an overall poor quality of tap water, bottled water has become the norm in many households. But what most don’t realise, is that the chemical pollution standards are nearly identical between bottled water and tap water.

Extensive research done by The Environmental Working Group (EWG) found 38 contaminants in 10 popular brands of bottled water, including disinfection byproducts, industrial chemicals, arsenic, fertilizer residue and pain medication. WHAT?!

S O T H E N . . .

Anything we can do to quickly and permanently phase out plastic water bottles will massivley reduce the devastating impact it is having on our environment.

This news article about a dead whale washed up in Indonesia with more than 1,000 items of plastic found in it’s stomach, speaks for itself.

In home water filtration systems and re-useable BPA-FREE drinking bottles are the first steps you can take towards initiating water awareness in your home and work place.
